Our goal is simple: To provide a structured, peer-supported roadmap from the promotional phase of Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome to a full 90-day biological reset. We combine the latest clinical research with the lived experiences of hundreds of others to help you regain control of your health. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Medical Disclaimer PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: This community is a peer-to-peer support group and an educational resource. I am not a doctor, and the contributors in this group are not medical professionals. Not Medical Advice: The information provided here is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Emergency Situations: If you are experiencing severe dehydration, uncontrollable vomiting, fainting, or intense abdominal pain, go to the Emergency Room immediately. CHS can lead to kidney failure and other life-threatening complications if not managed by medical professionals. Consult Your Physician: Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read in this community. Community Rules & Culture To keep this a safe and helpful space for everyone, we follow these three core principles: Lead with Support: Most people here are in physical or mental distress. Keep your comments helpful, empathetic, and encouraging. No "Bro-Science": When sharing remedies, distinguish between what is an "anecdotal experience" (what worked for you) and "scientific fact." The Goal is Recovery: This group is focused on healing and cessation. We do not promote "moderation" or "finding a way to keep smoking" if it risks your health. This is a space for the 90-day reset.

CHS
CHS is something that I have personally been dealing with since 2022 through several aggressive episodes and weeks of not eating. During my last CHS episode I had not been hydrated well the day before so my body was already lacking water, this led to me eventually needing 2L of fluids from the ER. At the ER they gave me liquid Benadryl and Zofran in my IV, this helped keep my symptoms down until the IV fluids had all entered my bloodstream and then before being discharged I was given another dose of Zofran. When I left the ER I came home and had sips of water and some applesauce, I went to bed around 8:00pm and woke up at 1:00am with intense abdominal pain. After waking I took a Zofran to fight the nausea and got into a warm bath. I stayed in the bath for ~30 minutes and my nausea had subsided and I was able to fall asleep again. After waking at 5:00am with intense abdominal pain I then puked until there was absolutely nothing left and I was dry heaving. At this point I took a suppository Promethazine to help with the nausea, I got into the bath for 30-45 minutes. This was the last aggressive vomiting session I have and I want you all to know that I understand what CHS feels like directly through multiple episodes and that I will do my best to create a valuable resource here that can help people suffering from Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome.
Does CHS have warning signs?
Have you ever noticed a rash, desire to take a hot shower when you wake up or immense discomfort before having a CHS episode? In my past episodes I have noticed a trend for when I am about to enter the hyperemesis stage of CHS. About 1-2 weeks before I start to vomit for what feels like eternity I begin to have a rash on the back of my left leg, I did go to urgent care about this rash after a CHS episode and they were unable to correctly diagnose me. This rash has came back in the same place for my FINAL 3 CHS episodes. Have you ever experienced anything like this? Another trend that I have noticed is that about 1 week before I start the Hyperemesis phase I begin to sweat profusely in my sleep and almost immediately with this I began to crave hot showers in the morning, not just from feeling gross and sweaty but what felt like me being drawn to the shower before I could start my day or begin to get ready.
