Hey Family, I have a gift for you. I'm writing a book on Spiritual Warfare, but before it's finished I already have multiple prayers that you can pray out loud coming against the spirit of fear, poverty, delay, lust, pride and so much more. Right now its just the prayers to pray out loud, however I will be adding explanations and chapters explaining how deliverance works, how spiritual warfare looks each day and how these things get in and how we can get them out. I'll even describe what each spirit looks like in everyday life so you can notice and discern in your own life. But spiritual warfare all comes down to thoughts, words and our choice of actions. If you need to change your actions... sometimes that seems impossible, no matter how hard you try. If you want to change your thoughts.... many times it seems useless to try to breaks generations of patterns and lies,... where do you start? You start with your words.... you can consciously choose your words and so I want to give you these words to declare over yourself now.... I don't want you to have to wait for me to finish the book. In the beginning God said: God said. God said. God said. God said. That's the pattern. Reality is captured within the utterance of God. His words are not informative. They are creative. When God speaks He doesn't just describe, He creates realms, atmospheres, dimensions, and possibilities. And when He speaks over a life, everything changes. Jacob understood this. He wrestled with God and said, I won't let you Go until you BLESS ME! What was the Blessing? Have you ever looked? Genesis 32 27 So He said to him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Jacob.” 28 Then the man said, “Your name will no more be called Jacob, but Israel. For you have fought with God and with men, and have prevailed.” 29 Then Jacob asked Him, “Tell me, I pray You, Your name.” But He said, “Why do you ask Me My name?” Then He blessed him there. 30 Jacob called the name of the place Peniel, saying, “I have seen God face to face, and my life has been preserved.” The Blessing was two-fold. First the blessing was the command of God... "Your Name will no longer be Jacob but Israel" then He declares who he is - A Prince (the essence of what the name or the Word Israel means which is "Prince" or "Wrestles or Strives with God") The Blessing was God calling Jacob by a NEW NAME. A NEW IDENTITY. Before he was a deceiver, a liar, a runaway from his own family... that was his identity, but now God was calling him a prince... The man who was afraid to face his own brother, came face to face with God and prevailed! Do you understand how profound that is.... the experience of God letting you Win and then hyping you up? The Second Blessing was the revelation of who Jacob was wrestling with.... Jacob asked "What is your Name" then the mysterious person says, "Why do you ask Me My name?.... THEN He Blessed Him and next we see Jacob saying, "I have seen the Face of God" In one night, his name changed, his ranking changed, his authority changed. He entered what is called territorial priesthood, authority over regions and territories, not because he worked for it, but because he wrestled for it and refused to let go.

So I want to share with you a little game of the Spiritual World. As I spoke to you yesterday the Bible says, "(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;" 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 Notice it says Pulling DOWN strongholds "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12 Notice it says High Places What starts to happen when you pray, not just a little, but when you decide to get into extended prayer is you are, wether you realize it or not, starting to PULL DOWN strongholds... this is offensive and the enemy will fight back.. The game is simply... if you feel stagnant, if you're bored and looking for action.... start to pray for extended times... depending on how long you pray each day, it might take a week, a month, or even a day... for that spirit that's living in that stronghold to start to get uncomfortable enough to start attacking you, but one thing I promise you... if you keep praying it will come out. Now if you don't pray... you are basically living in unseen bondage. Those are the areas in your life that everyone else can see, but seems to be invisible to you. Have you ever heard someone say, {Oh thats just "Insert name here"} when they did something negative or harmful to others. No that's actually not them, but everyone has grown so accustomed to their bad behavior that its expected... That's a strong hold and strong holds... when on the offensive, attack the mind 2 Corinthians 10:5 says "Casting down imaginations," it says "bringing into captivity every thought" Remember there is never a battle fought that's not over territory and never a Battle won without the enemy dropping spoil and or resources.

So tonight I will be teaching on open heavens. As I traveled around Brazil preaching at various churches my first year, I would preach on this often, but im not sure if I ever taught on it or spoke much about it here in the community. Let me know in the comments if you remember me talking about this. But I had two people ask me questions that im going to answer tonight. One question was can my prayers be hindered or stopped by the enemy... the simple answer is "yes" and we will dissect this tonight. The other question was about the meaning of Bronze in the bible... and its a perfect segue. Deuteronomy 28:23 23 And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron. (Note that Bronze and Brass in the Bible are the same interchangeable word.) So tonight we are going to talk about what is an Open Heaven, How to Open the Heavens and more.

I was speaking with a lady at my church yesterday and she shared that the battle was on for her mind. She had gone to evangelize her family in her hometown and ever since she has been facing spiritual attacks. The trip itself was hard. Her family was not receptive and since she's gotten back... she feels worthless and alone. She was asking me what I think is happening and I gave her a couple options... 1. Its just a wilderness season... its normal is these seasons that nothing has really changed but your emotions are out of wack and you know you're facing a battle 2. Your spiritual life was thrown off by you traveling... When you change your routine... it can be challenging to get back immediately. If you're dedicating certain times to pray and you've been doing that consistenly for a period of time... if you miss prayer (because of travel or other practical issues that come up when you're around new people) it can be hard to get back on track... It took me months after our conference... I was praying extended time through the day and when other Pastors and people came in I had to play host... but that meant sacrificing my prayer time... and honestly im still not where I was... Its hard to explain but if you know.. you know 3. You were not supposed to go... THis one isn't fun but some battles are not our battles But after talking to her for a while... it was clear... it wasn't any of the above. The truth was she went to fight for her family and those generational spirits started attacking her. She was so down and defeated that I just had to start teasing her. "You went there to fight for you family... and now you're complaining?" "You didn't really want to fight" You see there is never a reward or victory without a Battle. She was given the opportunity to fight but it was a fight. Why is that a big deal? Well we cannot just choose to fight spiritual things... We wrestle not against flesh and blood. Understand that we don't engage demons or fallen angels... or atleast I would encourage you not to.
