I was out with my kayak and got skunked. Stocked trout pond. Guys fishing from shore were catching a bunch. I tried spoons, crankbait. Another kayaker said he was using dry flys and caught a couple trout. I want to maybe anchor my kayak and do a bobber. Any advice?

Im not catching much lately usualy i fish for trout but the river i usualy fish was destroyed by a farmer who acidently leaked slurry into it and i dont know when it will be alright again ive been fishing in a lake since but im not really seeing or catching
