Hey Champions,
I've been having one of those ADHD weeks where my mind wants to chase a hundred different ideas at once.
Whenever that happens, I'm reminded of one of the greatest success principles I've ever learned:
The power of decision.
Today, I came across two pieces of content from different seasons of my life.
The first was a podcast interview I agreed to record just weeks after my mom passed away.
To be honest, when I first watched it, I immediately became my own critic.
"I look exhausted."
"I've gained weight."
"My energy feels off."
"I don't even sound like myself."
But then I stopped watching... and I started listening.
Instead of seeing what I looked like, I heard the message.
And I found myself thinking, "I can't believe I made the decision to show up anyway."
Looking back, I realize that episode wasn't about being polished.
It was about being resilient.
Sometimes courage doesn't look like confidence.
Sometimes courage simply looks like pressing "Record."
The second piece of content I found was an episode from our Champion Reads podcast covering Bob Proctor's book "Born Rich."
Once again, I was reminded that our lives are shaped far more by our decisions than by our circumstances.
This week, I may have a brain that's trying to go in twenty directions.
But I still get to decide.
I get to decide to finish the task.
I get to decide to write one more page.
I get to decide to make one more phone call.
I get to decide to show up.
And those decisions—made consistently over time—become our destiny.
So if you're feeling overwhelmed, distracted, discouraged, or simply "not at your best" today...
Don't wait until you feel perfect.
Make one good decision.
Then another.
Then another.
Champions aren't defined by perfect days.
They're defined by the decision to keep moving forward.
🌮 And because it's Tuesday... consider these two pieces of content your Virtual Tacos for the week. 😄
