Glasses and Fall Prevention
A client once told me that she fell because she didn't have access to her glasses and couldn't see clearly. It's important to keep a senior's glasses where they can easily reach them. They could be put on a string that stays around their neck. It's important to try to ensure that they always have them on before they get up (unless they're reading glasses only). You can also put a reminder note on their walker, or where they'll see it before they get up. Remember to ensure that their glasses are always clean so they can see clearly.
