Before looking for contracts, let's make sure your business foundation is in place.

✅ If You DO NOT Have a Business Yet:

• Decide on your business name• Form your business entity (LLC, Corporation, etc.)• Obtain your EIN from the IRS• Open a business bank account• Create a professional email address• Create a professional voicemail• Obtain any required state or local business licenses

✅ If You ALREADY Have a Business:

Ask yourself:

• Is my business active and in good standing?• Is my address current?• Is my website professional and up to date?• Do I have a business email (not a personal email)?• Do my services and products clearly match what I want to sell?• Do I know my NAICS codes?• Is my capability statement started?• Are my business licenses current?

Review your business setup and identify any gaps that need to be addressed before moving forward with government registrations.
