One thing that has helped me tremendously while growing in government contracting and healthcare business systems is learning how to properly use AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and other platforms. 🚀 These tools can help save HOURS of time when used correctly for things like:• Organizing thoughts• Reviewing opportunities• Drafting capability statements• Creating checklists• Understanding terminology• Brainstorming ideas• Writing emails and responses• Creating social media and marketing content• Structuring systems and workflows BUT — and this is important — AI should be used as a TOOL, not a replacement for understanding the process. I just signed up for the SC state procurement site. Because NC has no apex , I was also encouraged to sign up for the NC state procurement site. I am still waiting for my CAGE code. But, I was told I could do a few things to be ready when the approval comes through. I also started the small business search application. I started exploring keywords and codes taht may be applicable to what we offer. I will be working closely with my counselor to make sure I learn the system . I will also take advantage of having her review my work to make sure I have the right wording.

HI ALL, attended my first Apex informational meeting. I learned NC does not have an Apex office, so NC and SC share the same office. I have my first Apex meeting with my counselor Sarah @ 9 am tomorrow.
