Thoughts on joining career networking communities and other apps ie FIDE

Recently joined FIDE a career networking app w the premise to create conversation instead if just connections.

Good vibes but question has anyone had experience joining some of these communities to land clients ?

I believe my question is how much time to devote to these open spaces w/o running the risk if attracting folks that will never purchase into your services ?

Any experience, thoughts , advice?
