Sleep cycles
There are 4 cycle of sleep: light, intermediate and deep are non REM sleep and then REM sleep (dreaming). The average caregiver does not always get through all the cycles being that some nights they are still responding to calls from their loved one. For a caregiver, what are some things you can do to assure you get a good night sleep?

As a caregiver it is important that you create an environment that will nurture healing. What are some things you can do for your loved to provide a healing environment?

As you care for others it is imperative that you continue to care for yourself. Have you heard of a the phrase “proper sleep hygiene .” Meditate on it, do some research and determine if you have proper sleep hygiene, if not, what changes do you need to make.
