Update from my Oncologist

I had a checkup with my oncologist yesterday after an MRI and CT scan and want to give people some hope. There has been no progression, no spread of the disease. The MRI on my brain was clear and not spread throughout the rest of my body. The big news she gave me is that the tumor in my lung is no longer there and no sign of it in my lymph nodes, the scan was completely clear. The middle lobe of my right lung has collapsed and all that is left is scar tissue. For all intents and purposes the cancer is no longer there. I am now in the position that I have to continue keeping my body in a state that keeps it unfit for cancer to survive.

Never give up!! Over two years in, and this news has me over the moon. I thank this community for the support and information, as it is in large part responsible for my good news.
