Hiring My First OA VA – Looking for Advice

Looking for some advice from those of you who've hired VAs for OA.

I'm at the point where I think it's time to bring on my first VA. My current workflow is centered around building a Seller ID database, researching seller storefronts in Keepa, and finding profitable products for Amazon Canada. For those who've been through this before, what would you have your first VA start with? How did you train them, what tasks did you delegate first, and what mistakes should I avoid? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
