Wanting Change But Holding Back? Let’s Talk About Why
Good morning ☀️
A question I’ve been sitting with lately:
Where in your life are you asking for change… while also protecting yourself from it?
Not in a “you’re doing something wrong” way.
More in a curious, compassionate way.
I see this pattern constantly (and I’ve lived it myself):
  • Wanting more energy, but staying in routines that feel familiar.
  • Wanting different results, but keeping the same inner rules.
  • Wanting relief, but bracing for disappointment.
None of this means you’re broken.
It usually means your system learned a long time ago that staying the same felt safer than trying something new.
So today, I’d love to hear from you:
👉 What’s one area where you feel a genuine desire for change right now?
👉 And if you’re open to noticing… what do you sense might be the protective reason part of you hesitates?
There are no right answers here.
Awareness alone creates movement.
Share as much or as little as you want.
I’ll be in the comments with you. 💛
