It starts with WHY
Simon Sinek's iconic book is a call to action for many. Even in projects and building. I started a book called "She Knows her Brief" and my why is to inspire others to use their god given talents and build something around them. A home a shelter or the like. The commitment for our community, society and for future generations is that 30% of the Construction industry is represented by women. It's a target for 2030 and till then there's plenty of work to do. You may work part time in the industry or only for a season to complete your own project, it doesn't matter. I'm out to educate and build up the possibility of running construction projects with all the skills you inherently have.
It's no recipe book but a gateway to a look at what it takes and what fun you can have in the building game. I've started posting snippets to the community in substack and would love to have the Skool community involved also. From time to time, I'll post a link to a snippet for your reading pleasure and other times I'll post a tool that is inspired by the book in our Classroom for your use.
