Planned versus Intuitive Eating?
Conversations with clients over the past couple months have touched on this question again and again. There are great systems out there, and useful principles like emphasizing protein, fiber, hydration. But many of the lean, fit ladies I know do not think that much about food. In fact, they may miss a meal, eat a piece of toast and coffee for breakfast, or otherwise wing it. Maybe 3 out of 5 meals are built around whatever system they use, and the others are eating what’s there. Whenever I track my own meals it’s a mix of solid real-food meals and winging it with a couple of carrots and salami and cheese. What about you all? What is your ratio of wing it to plan it?
