Word of the Week: PRlORITY
Happy Mother’s Day. 💐
This one is for all the moms out there.
I’ve been coaching for a long time. And if there’s one group I’ve always loved working with more than any other — it’s moms.
You know why?
Because when a mom gets healthy, everybody gets healthy.
No other person on the planet has more influence over the health of those around them. Not a doctor. Not a coach. Not a trainer.
A mom.
When you eat better, your family eats better. When you move daily, your kids see it and follow. When you sleep more, you show up differently — as a partner, a parent, a friend, a leader. When you make your health a priority, your whole world feels it.
Moms don’t just influence their families. They influence their communities. Their schools. Their neighborhoods. Their world.
A healthy mom is a happy mom. And a happy mom changes everything around her.
-----
And yet.
One of the things I hear most often from the moms I work with is this:
“I need to get back to a time when I made myself a priority.”
Moms are incredible at taking care of everyone else. The kids. The husband. The household. The schedules. The meals. The emotions. The everything.
But themselves? That often comes last. Or not at all.
And here’s what I want to say to every mom reading this today:
You cannot pour from an empty cup.
Your health is not selfish. It is the most generous thing you can do for everyone you love.
When you are healthy — physically, mentally, emotionally — the people around you thrive. When you are depleted, the world you hold together starts to crack.
You are the glue. Which means taking care of yourself is taking care of everyone.
-----
So on this Mother’s Day — and every day that follows —
I hope you get pampered. I hope you get a moment of quiet. I hope someone makes you breakfast and tells you how much you matter.
But more than that, I hope this is the week you decide to make yourself a priority again.
Not someday. Not after the kids are older. Not when things slow down.
Now.
-----
Your PRIORITY challenge this week:
Identify one thing you’ve been putting off for yourself — one health habit, one appointment, one moment of self-care — and schedule it this week.
Not next week. This week.
You give everything to everyone else. Give a little to yourself. You’ve earned it.
-----
Good → Better → Best
Good: Take 10 minutes today just for you. A walk. Quiet coffee. A few deep breaths. Just you.
Better: Identify your one biggest health goal — the one you keep putting off — and write it down today.
Best: Book a free strategy session with me. Let’s build a simple plan around YOUR life, YOUR schedule, and YOUR goals. You deserve that.
-----
To every mom in this community — thank you for all that you do. You are seen. You are appreciated. You are more powerful than you know.
Happy Mother’s Day. 💐
→ Ready to make yourself a priority? I’m offering free strategy sessions this week for moms who are ready to take that first step. Just send me a message and let’s talk. No pressure — just a real conversation about what’s possible for you.
