DIY gagdet
Alright so I have order my electronics from adafruit, had to wait for my birthday money to come in but what I have decided to get is an ESP32 Feather V2, TFT FeatherWing and a Lithium battery, there are several cybersecurity gadgets I can make with this. I could make a Wi-Fi network scanner and signal analyser, a Tracker detector, a network honeypot/ canary token, a phishing demonstration tool or a packet monitor and traffic graph. I'm leaning more towards the network honeypot or the WiFi scanner but I would like to hear your thoughts on this
If Not Ethical Hacking What Would You Do?
On an honest note: Realistically I would be a "Top Sales Woman". Delusion-ally I would be an "Astronaut". What about you?

What's Your Hacker Name?
Haha🤣. This video is so accurate. It made me think why I choose the name "aScriptKiddie" as my hacker name. When I was really new to all of this someone explained to me that in the hacking community, a script kiddie is a derogatory term used to describe an unskilled, amateur hacker who uses pre-existing scripts, tools, or software developed by others to launch attacks or break into systems, without understanding how the underlying code or technology works. Once I heard it's definition, I knew it was perfect and fell in love with the name instantly. Why? Because I thought it would be funny to compete in hacking competitions and beat people with that name. 😁 Essentially, I just wanted to be a troll and let people know they got beat by aScriptKiddie. PS: I'm a bit competitive, in the healthiest way possible. So do you have a hacker name? And why did you choose that as your hacker name?

So I'm going to take on a challenge of learning more coding languages, currently on my list is Rust. I do have experience in python and if anyone has good resources to learn coding languages feel free to reach out.
Is Kali Linux necessary?
Hey guys, I'm just wondering if any of you run Kali linux on your personal devices. I am currently running Ubuntu and just manually installing the tools I am aware of like nmap and john. Is there a benefit to using Kali or is it just hype? I heard the Ubuntu/debian is what the majority of the web servers are running on the internet. Also I was reading that RHEL/red hat run most of the enterprise back-end infrastructure. That might also be worth familiarizing myself with in future.
