So apparently my trajectory arcs higher than I realize at 40ish yards. I don't typically know my distances at our local range, I dont often pay attention to that stuff. I just shoot if I think I can hit it. But I had to step it out after this happened. First picture shows the target from where I was shooting. You can see theres an old dead tree sticking out across the trail, higher than the target enough i thought it was far out of the way. When the first arrow hit it, I figured I messed up. Focused even more on the second arrow. I guess the first one was good after all 😆 at least my windage looked spot on. Both arrows survived fine. Doug fir hunter grade. Wicked tough shafts.
