WEEK 9 IS LIVE - LET'S DO A CHECK IN
Writing a book can feel isolating, especially when you’re deep in the process and unsure if you’re moving in the right direction. One of the things I value most about this space is being able to support writers in real, practical ways. Recently, I had the opportunity to review three chapters from one of our members and send back personalized feedback to help strengthen clarity, structure, and flow. This also aligns with Week 9 of the Boss Writer Writing Challenge, which is now live and designed as a check-in week. This week is about pausing, reflecting, and getting clarity on what’s working, where you may be stuck, and what support you need moving forward. If you have questions about your book journey, this is a good place to ask. Whether you’re navigating outlining, drafting, consistency, or direction, you don’t need to figure it out alone. Comment below if you have questions, need clarity, or want guidance on your next steps. Questions are part of the work, and support is part of this community. Drop your questions when you’re ready.

Week 7 Is Live: Writing With Direction
This week is about direction. By this point in the challenge, many writers can show up consistently but start to feel scattered. Jumping between ideas. Questioning what to work on next. Wondering if they’re moving in the right direction. Week 7 slows that down. Inside this week, we focus on: - Writing with intention instead of urgency - Staying in one clear writing lane - Reducing decision fatigue - Protecting your momentum for the long term This is not about finishing your book yet. It’s about ensuring the work you’re doing stays aligned and sustainable as you move deeper into the process. For Those Already in the Challenge Continue with the writing rhythm you’ve built and apply it with clarity and focus. Week 7 helps you stay anchored to your manuscript so your consistency actually leads somewhere. For Those Watching From the Community If you haven’t joined the writing challenge yet, you can start at any time. The Boss Writer Writing Challenge is designed to meet you where you are. All lessons are clearly labelled and organized, and each week builds a specific skill, from shaping your idea to building consistency and writing with direction. You don’t need to catch up perfectly. You don’t need to rush. If writing your book is still on your heart and you want structure instead of overwhelm, this is a good place to begin. Week 7 is live. Direction is the focus. And the door is still open.

Week Five is Live!!!!
Week 5 is Live | Writing Your First Full Chapter Week 4 answered what you’re writing. Week 5 answers how to actually write it without stalling. This is the point where many writers slow down. Not because they lack ideas, but because the pressure to “do it right” creeps in. This week is about releasing that pressure and learning how to write forward instead of in circles. The goal is simple and focused: One complete chapter drafted with confidence and control. Not multiple chapters. Not perfection! One chapter done well. If you’ve been waiting to feel ready, this is your reminder that readiness is built in motion. Show up, write forward, and let the work take shape as you go. Let’s get this chapter on the page.
