Write something
Here’s what I have been doing!
I know I have been a little quiet on Skool, but I have not been still. Since February and March, I have been building, growing, and showing up in powerful ways. I have received awards, been featured in news stories and publications, spoken at colleges, led workshops, and continued doing the work of championing authors, creatives, and underrepresented voices. I also helped execute a summit centred on diverse literature and led Create-Her, a workshop designed to empower artists, authors, and women creatives. This season has reminded me that sometimes silence does not mean inactivity. Sometimes it means expansion. And in the middle of all of that, I have been thinking deeply about this community and how I can serve you better, especially those of you who know you are called to write but need help starting. So here is what I am opening up:I will be making my Jumpstart Your Book course free. This is for the aspiring author who needs guidance, clarity, and that extra push to begin. Comment below for access and I will send you the details. Let’s get back to building. Let’s get back to writing. Let’s get your book started.

WEEK 12 IS LIVE.- COMPLETION OF BOSS WRITER WRITING CHALLENGE!
WEEK 12 IS LIVE. Twelve weeks ago, you committed to your book. Not the idea of a book. Not talking about a book. Not dreaming about a book. Writing it. Three months is enough time to: • Finish a first draft • Reach the halfway mark • Or build a writing system strong enough to complete it So where are you? If you completed your draft, this is your editing and publishing strategy phase. If you have chapters but stopped halfway, it’s time to tighten the plan and finish strong. If you started but lost momentum, this is your reset week. You still have access to the course. Now you need direction. Inside Week 12, we’re talking: • Completion• Next steps • Self-publishing checklist • When to book a consult • How to move from draft to published This is the year of action. Drop below where you are in your journey, and let’s move strategically.

WEEK 9 IS LIVE - LET'S DO A CHECK IN
Writing a book can feel isolating, especially when you’re deep in the process and unsure if you’re moving in the right direction. One of the things I value most about this space is being able to support writers in real, practical ways. Recently, I had the opportunity to review three chapters from one of our members and send back personalized feedback to help strengthen clarity, structure, and flow. This also aligns with Week 9 of the Boss Writer Writing Challenge, which is now live and designed as a check-in week. This week is about pausing, reflecting, and getting clarity on what’s working, where you may be stuck, and what support you need moving forward. If you have questions about your book journey, this is a good place to ask. Whether you’re navigating outlining, drafting, consistency, or direction, you don’t need to figure it out alone. Comment below if you have questions, need clarity, or want guidance on your next steps. Questions are part of the work, and support is part of this community. Drop your questions when you’re ready.
