Yesterday Private Session of 30 minutes Results
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of helping an incredible changemaker in our community lay the foundation for her book. For over a year, we had been talking about writing something together, and during a powerful session, we arrived at a tentative title. Now, eight months later, we are finally looking at how to get the ball rolling. As we began our conversation about the when, the what, and the moments that shaped her story, I took notes. From those notes, I expanded on her words and then said, “Are you ready to hear your first chapter?” Her surprise, joy, and curiosity at how I was able to pull it together from our conversation alone was unforgettable. The truth is, I have done this so many times that it feels like breathing. Seeing where the story is, understanding its depth, and shaping it into a book comes naturally to me. At the end of our hour session we had two chapters. Join me for this writing challenge. Bring someone with you, and let’s get your book done.
