BEFORE YOUR PRESS PUBLISH!
Before you press publish… pause. Where are you in your author's journey? Every week, I speak to authors who are excited to release their book, but haven’t fully thought through their publishing path. Traditional. Self. Hybrid. Each one comes with different levels of control, royalties, speed, and long-term ownership. Pressing publish is easy. Building a legacy is intentional. Inside this community, we don’t just write books. We build intellectual property. We protect our rights. We choose strategically. Before you hit that button, ask yourself: • Who owns my work? • What percentage am I earning? • Do I understand my contract? • Does this align with my long-term vision? Boss Writers don’t rush decisions. They move with intention. If you’re unsure which path fits your goals, drop “PUBLISH” below and let’s talk it through. INSIDE WEEK 11 OF OUR BOSS WRITER WRITING CHALLENGE TAKES YOU THROUGH UNDERSTANDING THE PATHWAYS TO PUBLISHING. Go to our classroom and join the challenge!

INTRODUCTION
Hi everyone, My name is Mary, and I’m an independent book editor. I work closely with authors who want their manuscripts to feel polished, professional, and truly ready for readers, not just “edited,” but refined with care. I genuinely love working with authors especially those who are passionate about their stories but want a professional eye to help bring everything together. If you’re working on a manuscript and need thoughtful, honest feedback, I’d be happy to connect. Looking forward to being part of this community.
