I have 2 Completed "Verified $2.99" reviews on BookVillage site, but no verified purchases showing in the reviews on Amazon. Any idea why?

This happened with my very first book here: I received only a star rating, with no written review at all. So apparently that counts too? Great!!! That certainly makes things easy... Why bother reading the book and writing an honest review when you can just click a few stars and be done? Could someone please clarify whether this is actually allowed under BookVillage rules?

Hi Adriano & BookVillage team, could you please check your automatic billing settings? Yesterday I paid my 3 months pricing plan (90$) and also left review for a book. Today, just a few min. ago, my Revolut acc. informed me that BookVillage tried to withdraw the same amount again. In that moment I luckily didn't have 90 usd in the acc, so nothing happend - but if I did, BV would have taken the same amount I already paid. Could you please do something about it, so that other clients don't face the same awkward situation?? Best regards, Nikki

Hi, I have had two active book promotions for some time now, but I still have 0 Active Readers. Both of my books are listed as Standard Unverified Promotions. One of them has already been active for more than a week. Could you please let me know how long it usually takes to start getting Active Readers? I would also like to add that, from my side, I have personally purchased 6 books from other authors and already left 3 reviews. However, so far I do not really see the mutual support working both ways. I would appreciate your clarification, because I’m trying to understand whether this is normal or if something is wrong with my promotions. Thank you, Ewa

I just published two new workbooks on Amazon KDP at the beginning of June 2026. I originally had no issues with uploading and publishing my original manuscript. Since my launch I went back to update my manuscript to include a link for a review, the ISBN number and I fixed a couple typos. I'm getting extremely frustrated because I have edited and re-uploaded over 5 times now and I cannot get approved. The email says "Your file contains insufficient bleed." I have redone my margins, moved text and images around and I even did a live chat with an amazon kdp agent and still cannot get approval. The agent told me to resize my original file (I created it in canva) from and 8.5' by 11' to 8.62 to 11.25 which I did and still did not get approved. I am at a loss. It's very frustrating because it was approved the first time and now it's not. Please help.
