I can’t believe summer is basically over. How did that happen so fast?
The other day I was sitting in my garden, looking at this little pile of stones I pulled out of one flowerbed. My grand plan was to move them over to another bed. Simple enough, right?
Except… I never did it.
It was always:
❌ too hot
❌ too rainy
❌ too busy
❌ “I’ll do it later”
And there the stones sat, all summer long.
I was laughing about it with a friend, and she said, “If you’d just moved five stones every day, they’d already be gone by now.”
And it hit me like a ton of… well, stones.
This is exactly how our big projects go.
Books. Businesses. Anything meaningful.
We look at the whole pile and think:
“I don’t have the time for all of that today.”
But the truth is, you don’t have to move the whole mountain in one go.
You just have to take one stone.
So as we step into September, here’s my invitation:
✨ Stop waiting for the perfect time.
✨ Pick one small stone.
✨ Move it.
✨ Then do it again tomorrow.
Because in a few weeks, months, or seasons… you’ll look back and realize you didn’t just move a stone.
You moved the mountain.
