BEFORE AND AFTER - Enhanced Book Cover for Karly

Hi there Book Bosses!

I wanted to give

's Book Cover a few simple tweaks just to show you all how you can enhance the aesthetic of your Book Covers just by following a few simple design rules!

Karly! You may or may not like it or want to go with this one but hopefully this teaches both you and everyone a few fundamental design principles!

1) FONTS and FONT SIZING makes a BIG HUGE DIFFERENCE! I hope you can see that I have chosen more visually appealing fonts for Karly's Book Cover and I have resized the Fonts again to enhance the visual style and appeal of the cover. Fonts should be treated as just as important as the design elements and the graphics. Fonts are VERY VERY IMPORTANT and can be the difference between sales and no sales!

2) OVERLAPPING and LAYERING ELEMENTS to give added depth and design to the overall finished look again makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE. Karly did have some overlapped designs to her original post but here you will see I've added a pale coloured background layer right at the very back to make the whole tone of the book more visually appealing and to add depth. I have overlapped the book elements and added a gold Bonus element again overlapping it onto the other layers.

3) I have slightly redesigned Karly's Logo again to give it a more designed and professional look.

4) I have changed the Subtitle in terms of both placement AND the actual words used to again add to the visual appeal of the book, to make the Subtitle more readable - it is now bigger, clearer and I have also SIMPLIFIED it to make it more understandable and appealing to the reader. I have also changed the font and made the top line of the Subtitle larger and in Bold to make the whole thing more easy to read and interesting.

FINAL WORDS FROM ME:

I think the redesigned book cover is a lot better and will help it to really stand out and look really professional in the Amazon Book Feed.

HOWEVER......

If this was my book I would still want to make further changes.

I think the Book Title's of each of Karly's individual books didnt really make sense to me for "Beginner" or for the phrase "Made Simple" or for any sort of a journey through a spiritual awakening.

If we look at each of the individual 4 books...............they are journals of discovery....awakening and aligning Volume 1 and Volume 2 journals and manifesting and shadow work.

As a beginner and as someone who knows nothing about having a spiritual awakening...... I would personally be confused by each of the inidividual book titles as I dont really understand HOW they will work for me.

It would be better to have STEP 1 - A Beginners Guide to Spiritual Awakening and Healing

STEP 2 - How To Get STarted with The Chakras and Reiki STEP 3 - Healing through journalling and manifesting and STEP 4 The Beginners to Advanced Awakening Workbook

If it was something like this then I would be able to understand the process and the things I would be leaning about and they make sense to my beginner brain whereas your Volume 1 and 2 journal is hard for me to understand what it is or put it into context for me as a beginner WHY I might need those things.

So thats one big change I would make if I were going to publish this book.

The second big change I would make is that I would clarify and simplify each individual book cover on the front of this book and I would use the same fonts and clear pictures and images like a photo of the Chakras for the Step 2 Book Above and I would make the titles of each inidividual Book MATCH THIS ONE here in terms of the Fonts but have each one looking distinctly different too and I would add those book cover to my interior book design also so that the reader gets a sense of which book they are now reading in the 4 book series.

I would also sell each of the 4 books separately too ideally xxx
