Your back catalogue consists of the books you've published before your latest book! In 2022 I published a journal/notebook that was filled with affirmations taken from a meeting of Infinite Possibilities trainers. I'm not sure if I'd ever sold even one copy! Today I have! Helloooo Book Bosses! I have a big message for you and that is to WORK HARDER and SPEND MORE TIME on your Book Covers if they are AI Generated! One of the biggest gripes of customers on Amazon and in the Amazon Book Reviews is when they say "This Book is created by AI" - and so this is going to massively damage your book sales if you create books that really obviously look like AI! When you use AI for the first few prompts, the book cover it will generate will probably be quite good and you will think WOW! This is AMAZING! But actually the first few image generations are always going to be the worst. You can tell 1000's of books that have been generated using AI on Amazon because they have a weird orangey glow to them. Remember.....a book cover designer or an illustrater would have to work for hours and even days to create a bespoke personalised hand-drawn book cover.... .....so it doesnt make any sense for us to expect that we can import a prompt into Chat GPT and instantly generate a best-selling book cover! It isnt going to happen! Lets be realistic! So in this video I walk you through over 40 generations of my Burlesque Witch Book Cover using DALL.E within Chat GPT so that you can se the whole process.... ....and then I talk about how I upgraded it and made some corrections and edits and improvements in CANVA after that too! ____ I don't know if I've said this before but YOUR BOOK COVER is the most important thing you are going to create together with your BOOK TITLE. It's NOT your book interior! Sure that needs to be great and high quality too if you want good reviews and more sales - but your BOOK COVER IS THE REAL KEY TO SUCCESS! So I started this business in February. I’ve worked really hard and published books every single week since then. A lot of my books now, looking back, were rubbish!!! 🤣 (they weren’t for a specific audience and there was nothing that screams “unique” or “quality” or “interesting” about them) and so those ones have sunk to the bottom. HOWEVER now 17 of my books are selling each week making my total income last month is now $2482.70. ____ Is it worth all the effort I’ve put into this?? A BIG MASSIVE RESOUNDING YES!!! This is by far the best business I have ever built even though I had a law firm many years ago. And even though I passed a 50k month once in my business coaching business!! This is MONTHLY RECURRING ROYALTIES. AND I am adding into the pot every single month. Growing it and growing it. In our sessions this week I talked about books having 19 income streams….. well I actually just thought of EBay too! You can sell your coloring page digital downloads on EBay!! So that’s 20 further income streams other than Amazon…… that I haven’t even explored!! And with the rise and advancement of AI Tools, the production speed and costs of these books are only set to get faster and cheaper to produce and HARDLY ANYBODY out there in the world is doing this the way we do it! ….with a focus on uniqueness and high quality… ______ So whilst my $2483 might seem modest each month for quite a lot of work….. ….actually…… today…… I feel like I just won the lottery. Because I am FINALLY able to build a long term legacy business…. Something I am immensely proud of… and long term security for all my family. And you can all do this too. With the right mindset and with enough focus on quality and output. ______ What an exciting day! I am off now to take myself for a lovely celebratory lunch. Did some research today and in between losing myself completely in checking out every single colouring book that looked beautiful, instead of focussing on the very profitable ones and filling my spreadsheet ..... I did come to a conclusion for my very first Colouring Book Camp book. Mine is gonna be a Colour By Number Halloween edition. Oh and don't just put in CBN when researching ... it brings you to a whole different purchasing part of Amazon 🤣😇😳 and as Dutchy I get weird ideas with buying mushrooms online😂🫣
