Sat down to look at my Bingo card #3 and see what actions happened this week and "oh Happy Day" I have Bingo's Current situations in my work life have helped me: Release responsibility, set an emotional boundary, and have self-forgiveness. In a conversation with a dear friend, I caught an old thought that just doesn't happen these days. I have been blocking of time for myself daily, for a long time, and just not giving myself credit for it here. Lastly, 10 minutes of silence. I do that with journal time several times a week, but in trying to implement it into another time in the day I've had a struggle not listening to tv, podcast, or books. I did it twice yesterday- while putting on makeup and while driving to work. I'd forgot how peaceful it can be. Thanks for the reminder Jen!

My phrase for 2026 is Grounded Expansion, and I had a real-life moment recently that showed me exactly what that looks like in practice. As I was pulling together reports, I realized I was missing several receipts. My first thought was, This is going to take forever. My second thought was, I should just hire someone to do my books, even though I am fully capable. Then I paused. Instead of pushing through while frazzled, I walked away. I decided not to solve the problem from a stressed place. Later, with a calmer mind, I remembered that before my recent trip I had downloaded a free trial of a receipt-management tool I had come across. I opened it up, and within minutes it pulled receipts directly from my email and synced them into QuickBooks. What I was convinced would take months took less than a couple of hours. Not because I worked harder, but because I worked smarter, from a regulated place, and with the right support. It also cost a fraction of what outsourcing would have, my reports are now clean and complete, and we are positioned to get our taxes done early this year. That, to me, is grounded expansion: - Pausing instead of panicking - Choosing clarity over urgency - Using tools and support without abandoning self-trust A small moment, but a big shift in how I lead myself.

I like have a visual reminder of my word. So each year I make a picture to hang in front of myself in my office. This one has my word and each light bulb holds a meaning of my definition of it.
