Detaching Ego from Criticism
When a client says "I don't like this lip," they aren't rejecting you. They are rejecting a colour. Treat it as data. Become a detective, not a victim. How do you handle it when a client asks for a change? Do you freeze up or dive in?

Powder Chemistry (Flashback)
Silica powder blurs pores beautifully, but it reflects light directly back at a camera flash, causing "ghost face." For flash photography, use Talc or Mica-based powders which absorb light better. Have you ever had a "flashback fail" in a photo? Tell us about it (or be brave and post the pic)!

Product Finds (Splurge vs. Save)
Mascara has a 3-month shelf life. Never splurge on luxury mascara for your kit because you have to trash it so often. Splurge on complexion products; save on disposables and mascaras. Share your best "Drugstore Find" that performs like Luxury. I'll compile a list for us all!

Red Flags in Inquiries
A client who tries to dictate your price or process before they've booked will be a nightmare on the wedding day. Watch for: "I've fired three other artists" or "It's just a simple look, so it should be cheap." What is ONE specific phrase from a potential client that makes you say "No thanks"?
