He wanted to understand how I was doing financially, running a business starting from scratch. He could have said "Are you making enough money to cover your monthly expenses?" but that would be too intrusive, too direct. Instead, he asked the safe question. I analyze how my spending is matching what I projected. 30 mins to load the transactions for both my business account and my personal account. I separate the two accounts.
