Welcome to Beyond the Wand — Start Here
Welcome, I'm glad you're here. This community exists because carpet cleaning business owners deserve better than guesswork. Better than pricing by feel. Better than wondering where their money went. Beyond the Wand — the book — gives you the framework. This community is where you implement it. First, grab the book. It's free. It's pinned in Resources & Tools Section— the post called "Get the Book — Beyond the Wand (Free)." Download it there and read at your own pace. A chapter between jobs works fine. Then introduce yourself below. Tell us: 1. Your name and where you're located 2. How long you've been in the carpet cleaning business 3. The ONE number in your business you wish you understood better That third question is the most important one. Your answer tells me exactly what we need to work on together. Where everything lives: - Book Discussion — reading along? Ask questions, share what's landing - Know Your Numbers — pricing, costs, margins, the real math - Business Building — marketing, sales, systems - Ask Reggie — stuck on something? Post it here - Wins & Growth — a price you raised, a job you closed, a number that finally clicked - Resources & Tools — the book and anything else I put together for you Welcome to the community. Let's grow. 🤝 — Reggie Williams

The Know Your Numbers program is live. 🎯
If you've ever priced a job off a gut feeling and hoped it worked out — this is for you. I just opened up the full 8-week program here in the community: Know Your Numbers — The 8-Week Program. It's in the Classroom tab, and it's free to every member. Here's what we walk through together, one week at a time: — Finding your true numbers, so pricing stops being a guessing game — Rebuilding your prices off a formula you can stand behind — Raising your average job on the customers you already have — Turning marketing into a machine instead of a money leak — Building something that runs without your body holding the whole thing up Every lesson gives you something to read, something to do, and a place to post it right here. Go at your own pace — but do the work. That's where it changes. Head to the Classroom tab and start with the Welcome, then Lesson 1. And if you haven't grabbed the book yet, the link's in the Start Here post. Let's get to work. 👊

What's the one number in your business you wish you understood better?
Let's be straight with each other for a minute. Most of us didn't get into this because we love spreadsheets. We got into it because we're good at the work. So we run the business off feel — if the schedule's full and there's money in the account, things must be fine. Until they're not. And you can't figure out why you're busier than ever and still tight at the end of the month. Here's what I want to know: What's the one number in your business you wish you actually understood? Maybe it's one of these: - CAC — what it actually costs you to get one new customer - LTV — what a customer is worth to you over the years, not just today - ROAS — whether your advertising is making money or burning it - Profit margin — what you really keep after everything's paid - Average job value — what your typical ticket actually is - Cost per job — what one clean truly costs you, all in Or maybe it's none of those. Maybe it's something simpler that's been nagging you — what you should pay yourself, whether you can afford a second truck, what an hour of your time is really worth. And listen — if you looked at that list and didn't recognize a single one of those, say so. That's not something to be embarrassed about in here. Nobody taught us this. Drop yours below. Just name the number. Why I'm asking: I'd rather build this room around what you're actually stuck on than guess. Whatever comes up most, that's what we dig into first.
What's The ONE Thing Holding Your Business Back Right Now?
Quick question before we dive into everything else. If you could fix ONE thing in your carpet cleaning business tomorrow — what would it be? More leads? Better pricing? Hiring the right people? Getting off the truck? Drop your answer below. Your answer tells me exactly what we need to tackle first in this community. Let's hear it.
