Introduction
🌊 Offshore Diving | Inspection | Engineering Hi everyone, I’m Rafał — currently training as a commercial diver at NYD, with a strong background in offshore structures and inspection. 🔧 Offshore & Fabrication Experience I’ve been working on large-scale projects within: - Offshore structures - Wind energy (jackets, transition pieces, heavy steel) - Fabrication & final-stage production I gained my experience with Victor Buyck, Nemac, and Smulders, where I was involved in complex projects, including supervision of repair works, inspections, and quality control on critical structures. 🧪 Inspection & Certifications - International Welding Engineer (IWE) - VT2 (Visual Testing Level 2) - FROSIO Level III (Coating Inspection) - GWO + selected GWO BTT modules This gives me a strong foundation in: - Structural inspection - Coating systems & corrosion protection - Welding quality & defect assessment 🤿 Transition to Diving Right now I’m building my path in offshore diving, combining hands-on technical knowledge with subsea capabilities. Planned certifications: - CSWIP 3.1U (Underwater Welding Inspection) - BOSIET & HUET ⚙️ What I bring offshore - Real experience with complex steel structures - Ability to supervise and inspect in multiple disciplines - Understanding of fabrication, repair, and QA/QC processes - Strong work ethic and readiness for demanding offshore environments 🤝 Open to opportunities I’m looking to join projects where I can grow as a diver/inspector and contribute to high-level offshore operations. If you’re working on subsea inspections, structural repairs, or offshore projects — let’s connect.

Chilean Diver
Hello everyone, greetings from Chile 🇨🇱 I’ve been working in the commercial diving industry here for several years, mainly in inshore operations. It’s always interesting to see how the industry evolves in different parts of the world. In Chile a lot of the diving work is related to salmon farming, port infrastructure, inspections and some offshore support. Conditions can be quite challenging at times, especially with cold water and visibility. I get the IMCA TADS and ADCI Air Diving Supervisor and Im learning more everyday. Hope everyone is having a safe season out there.Stay safe and dive safe.
