First Job
Hi everyone, I’ve just finished my commercial diving course in Dunoon, Scotland, and I’m now looking to get started in the industry. I’m originally from South Africa and have been finding it quite challenging to land that first opportunity, especially with visa restrictions making things a bit more complicated. I’m keen to get my foot in the door anyway I can and I’m more than willing to travel and work my way up. If anyone has any advice, contacts, or knows of any opportunities, I’d really appreciate it.

Something for the next 10 premium members
I’m doing something for the next 10 premium members. I’ve been building this out properly over the last couple of weeks — mock exams, breakdowns, and real insight into how this industry actually works. The guys already in have been helping shape it. So for the next 10 who join premium… 👉 I’ll send you one of my Graduated Diver Pointers (normally £38) Not as a gimmick — just something genuinely useful to go alongside everything inside. Once those 10 are gone, that’s it. If you’re serious about getting into diving or inspection and not just drifting… You’ll know if this is for you.

@Robin Hughes I don't think so. Imagine if you took an empty coke can to 200m you could fill it with gas. Its flimsy but the pressure inside and out would be equal....no worries. If that can on the surface tried to hold the same pressure then its a total no go. This had only occured to me after i had done the podcast. The pressure dynamics are in a different ball park.

Century Milestone hit thank you!
101 members. Appreciate everyone who’s joined so far — especially the ones asking questions, giving feedback, and actually using what’s being shared. This is only going one way. I’m building this out properly — mock exams, real breakdowns, and the stuff I wish I had at the start. If you’re here early, you’ll see it grow. Cheers, Stu
