Delayed benefits when filing this year.
My FRA will be 10/31/2026. I will retire on 11/02/2026. I want to start my SSA and Medicare Part B benefits as of 12/2026.
- What is the earliest date I can file for both?
- Do I need to declare a VRDC?
- Am I correct in thinking that my first check will come in the 4th week of 01/2027?
