Your body changed. Your identity may still be catching up.
Begin Purpose is for people after bariatric surgery or GLP-1 weight loss who have experienced major physical change but still do not fully recognize themselves.
You may look different, wear different clothes, receive more attention, and live in a new body, yet still think, react, hide, or protect yourself like the person you were before.
I’m Bo McCoy. For more than a decade, I worked throughout the bariatric community as a motivational speaker, patient advocate, and educator, completing more than 150 speaking engagements. I saw firsthand that weight loss does not automatically rebuild confidence, self-image, relationships, or purpose. Suicide is the number one preventable death after gastric bypass. Let's stop that!
This community focuses on identity lag, confidence, visibility, emotional adjustment, relationships, fear of regain, and life beyond the scale.
Your transformation is not finished.
Let’s help your identity catch up.
