Neuroplasticity Success Starts with Consistency
What if the secret to building a stronger brain isn't longer sessions or harder work — it's showing up consistently? Most families and educators are chasing progress with occasional big efforts — a long Saturday session, an intensive practice week — and then wondering why the gains don't stick. But that's not how the brain builds lasting change. ✨ Neuroplasticity — the brain's ability to grow and rewire — runs on repetition, not intensity. Twenty focused minutes five days a week will outperform two hours once a week almost every time. ⏱️ https://www.beginagaininternational.com/post/neuroplasticity-success-starts-with-consistency-and-the-just-right-challenge

Neuroplasticity Success Starts with Consistency
The Art of Neuroplasticity
Neuroplasticity changes how we think about the brain. For decades, scientists believed the adult brain was fixed and unchangeable. Once you reached adulthood, your brain’s structure and function were thought to be set in stone. Today, research shows the brain is far more flexible. It can reorganize itself by forming new neural connections throughout life. This ability allows you to learn new skills, recover from injuries, and even change habits that seem deeply ingrained. https://www.beginagaininternational.com/post/understanding-neuroplasticity-and-how-it-transforms-your-brain-throughout-life

Regulating the Overwhelmed Brain: Effective Body-Based Techniques for Student Success
When a child shuts down, melts down, or refuses to try — what looks like a behavior problem is often something else entirely. 🧠 In that moment, the brain's alarm system has taken over. Stress hormones are flooding the body, and the parts of the brain responsible for thinking, reasoning, and memory have essentially gone offline. 🚨 This is a nervous system in survival mode — and no amount of pushing, prompting, or consequence will unlock learning when the brain feels under threat. 💛 The first step isn't the lesson. It's regulation. Here's what that looks like in practice. 👇 https://www.beginagaininternational.com/post/regulating-the-overwhelmed-brain-effective-body-based-techniques-for-student-success

The Founder of Digital Therapeutics
Starting in the 1970s, Mike stirred a decades-long controversy in neuroscience by publishing studies showing that an adult brain is “plastic” (capable of chemical, physical, and functional change) at any age. At that time, brain scientists believed the brain was only plastic in childhood, when new neural pathways were continuously created, based on childhood learning. Most believed that by early adulthood the brain was no longer capable of that kind of physical change. While you could learn new information, the prevailing theory was that the brain’s “operating system” had become “hardwired” by early adulthood and was destined to wear out with advancing age (leading to cognitive aging and dementia).
