Proverbs 1-12
Hey yall! I hope everyone has been doing well. I totally lost track of time last night and it was 7:22 when I looked at the clock and realized I was wayyy overdue for Bible study!
Proverbs is interesting because the writing style changes drastically compared to some of the other books we have read, but the lesson is a powerful one. To me, proverbs tells you how to live in God’s image, and while it may not be easy all the time, you will always be rewarded in the end.
If I am being honest, there were some times where I thought “this is getting redundant” BUT I realize how necessary redundancy is. While Proverbs seems like “common sense,” it truly is not. And we can see that every single day in the people closest to us and in those that lead and govern us. I think it is so easy to get off track.. to “cheat” or take shortcuts to get where we need to be. I think Proverb is the reminder to stay God’s course!
