Proverbs 1-12
Hey yall! I hope everyone has been doing well. I totally lost track of time last night and it was 7:22 when I looked at the clock and realized I was wayyy overdue for Bible study! Proverbs is interesting because the writing style changes drastically compared to some of the other books we have read, but the lesson is a powerful one. To me, proverbs tells you how to live in God’s image, and while it may not be easy all the time, you will always be rewarded in the end. If I am being honest, there were some times where I thought “this is getting redundant” BUT I realize how necessary redundancy is. While Proverbs seems like “common sense,” it truly is not. And we can see that every single day in the people closest to us and in those that lead and govern us. I think it is so easy to get off track.. to “cheat” or take shortcuts to get where we need to be. I think Proverb is the reminder to stay God’s course!
Remember that…
Sometimes we’re placed in solitude to heal what noise was hiding. To change how we see the calling. To confront the insecurities formed through past relationships… and even through people we never shared space with but somehow let shape our perception. The anxiety. The fear. The need for constant affirmation. That’s what happens when you’re chasing ghosts. There’s a difference between kairos timing and chronos timing, His timing and ours. Not everything delayed is denied. Not everything hidden is lost. You are not responsible for the opinions of people who never walked beside you, yet somehow occupy space in your mind. Release them. Past relationships. Failed attempts. Closed doors. None of it erased your purpose. “Out of sight, out of mind” is a perception — not your reality. You are seen. There are people who see you. And God sees you. There is purpose in every quiet place. There is growth in every pause. There is intention in every season Stop apologizing for becoming who you were called to be. Stop shrinking to make others comfortable. Stop explaining the elevation that required your obedience. You’re not disappearing. You’re becoming!

Psalm 105:15
There’s a reason why the Bible says “Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm.” Be careful who you try to hurt & tear down. God will elevate them right in front of your eyes. When God is for you, it really doesn’t matter who is against you! The weapons may form but he will make sure they don’t prosper. 🤍
