🧪 Why Filtering Matters
1. Removes Particles & Debris
- Even if a solution looks clear, tiny particles can still be present
- Filtering catches: Undissolved powder & Dust or contaminants
- Result = cleaner, smoother solution
2. Helps Improve Sterility
- A proper filter (like 0.22 micron) can trap bacteria-sized particles
- Helps reduce contamination risk during handling
👉 It’s not a replacement for sterile technique — but it’s an extra layer of protection
3. Smoother Injection Experience
- Less particles = less irritation
- Helps avoid: Burning/stinging sensation & Injection site discomfort
4. Prevents Needle Clogging
- Tiny particles can clog: Insulin pins & Small gauge needles
👉 Filtering keeps everything flowing smoothly (especially important for small needles)
⚠️ Important Note
Filtering helps — but it does NOT:
- Fix already contaminated materials
- Replace proper hygiene or sterile handling
👉 It’s a supporting step, not a magic fix
