HERES MY STORY = I was born in Barcelona but left too young for Catalan to stick. (If it stuck I would be trilingual 🙃) I’ve spent the last 13 years in Ireland, and now I’m back to finally learn the language properly. Here’s the thing: most people who come to Barcelona speak English or a little Spanish and make no effort to learn Catalan. But if you’re going to live here, even speaking a little bit helps make connections and this city will welcome you to actually integrate into the culture. The Generalitat de Catalunya offers two official, free resources: 🔗 Aula Mestra: llengua.gencat.cat/aulamestra 🔗 Parla Cat: www.parla.cat Whether you’re new here or been thinking about learning? Give these a shot! Bona sort! 🇪🇸
