I'm Mike, I used to make biscuits (cookies) and ship them worldwide.
For eight years I made cookies, starting in my home kitchen, expanding to a factory then outsourcing before selling my business in 2025. My biggest stumbling block to profit and baking happily was packaging. Jaw sealers, L-sealers, flow wrappers, infill, inners, outers... the endless list of packing nightmares. I'm here to help. Hopefully you can help other people out too with your experience. I started selling online in the 90's, everything from underwater camera equipment to pallets of cookies have left my house or factory at some point. Ask questions, share experiences and let us know what you sell and what worked or didn't work. Share photos of your workspace and your packaging too.

Am I the last to hear about this? This article popped up in my weekly research for the Friday newsletter (https://bakeandbag.com/newsletter), but it wasn't the packaging that caught my eye. It was the fact the product exists at all 😅 https://www.packaginginsights.com/news/coverpla-dog-luxury-perfume.html

packaging ceramics
Hi, I run an ecommerce ceramic store and I’m having a hard time figuring out the right packaging. Our products are fragile and come in many different sizes, so it’s been challenging. Up until now we’ve been using wrapping paper and the packaging provided by our supplier, but as we move into the US market, I’m thinking we need something more protective and better-looking.
