Let’s take the shame out of High Blood Pressure. Growing up in Omaha, Nebraska in the 70’s and 80’s-my mother cooked 90% of our meals. She was an amazing cook. Everything she made was from scratch and it was delicious. It was also full of fat, sugar, fattening oils, processed and fried. When I learned more about food and what my body needed as a celebrity trainer and actor residing in LA- did I begin changing my mind and my relationship with and to food. I’ve gone vegan a couple of times. I currently eat mostly what I want, which is food that makes me feel good and helps me to look good. In 2022 my then boyfriend and now fiance suffered from a major hemorrhagic stroke. Shortly before his stroke my PCP watched me that my blood pressure was a little, as well as my cholesterol. I was in denial. After all, I eat well, train 5-7 days a week and I drink water. I rarely drink alcohol and I don’t smoke. My fiancé’s stroke couple d with my desire to learn even more about good + food combining has sent me down the rabbit hole of studying-reading -absorbing and implementing this information to ensure that we don’t spend another year not knowing healthier and more natural ways of managing OUR; , Blood Pressure . Cholesterol . A-C . Weight And we’re sharing this knowledge with our Community If you And/Or anyone you know and love is either; . Struggling with . Interested in .
