Lately, I’ve been paying closer attention to my body instead of pushing past it.
After a major life transition, my left knee started speaking up. Not loudly. Not dramatically. Just enough to get my attention. Instead of trying to fix it right away, I got curious.
It reminded me that our bodies often hold the wisdom of transition.Knees, especially, live in that in-between space; the moment between standing still and stepping forward. They carry trust, flexibility, and support.
So I want to invite you into a gentle check-in today.
Take a breath. Scan your body without judgment.
👉🏽 Where do you notice sensation, tightness, or fatigue right now?
You might reflect on:
- Feet – support, grounding, stability
- Knees – transition, trust, readiness to move forward
- Hips – carrying, holding, emotional load
- Shoulders – responsibility, pressure, expectations
- Jaw or neck – holding back words or tension
There’s no right answer. Nothing to fix.
Just notice.
If you feel comfortable, share in the comments:
- the body part that stood out
- one word that describes what it feels like
This is the kind of listening we’re leaning into more here as we build new resources and community conversations. Slow. Honest. Supportive.
Because pain isn’t always a problem.Sometimes it’s a pause button with purpose. 💛
