Pull up a chair
This is an ongoing conversation — not a feed to scroll past, but a place to actually land for a minute. We're all here because our bodies have been trying to tell us something, and we're finally listening. Some of us are newly diagnosed and still in shock. Some of us have been at this for years and just needed to find our people. Some of us are somewhere in between. Wherever you are is exactly right. Here's how this works: share one burden and one joy. That's it. Just one of each. Not because we're bypassing the hard stuff — but because carrying things alone makes them heavier, and joy shared is joy doubled. Both are true at the same time. I'll go first. My burden: My house looks like a content creator lives here. Which, fair. But still. My joy: I just pulled out my seed baskets. Carrots, potatoes, cucumbers, corn — my hands remember exactly what to do even when the rest of me is exhausted. Your turn. Drop them below. We're listening.

Naming our needs
This is the one that stopped me in my tracks when I first really sat with it: If your immune system crashes, nothing else matters. Supporting it IS supporting everything else in your life. So today, just one question: what does your immune system need most right now that you've been telling yourself you can't give it? Rest? Real food? A boundary you keep putting off? Joy — actual, unscheduled joy? You don't have to fix it all today. Just name one thing. Sometimes naming it is where it starts.

How I Reversed Lupus
I've been asked many times how I reversed Lupus. Doctors will tell you that Lupus is incurable. They straight up tell patients that you will have it for the rest of your life, and that eventually, it will kill you. Then, they proceed to put patients on toxic medications that shut down the immune system, and even more pills to deal with the negative side effects of the original meds. Reversing Lupus didn't happen overnight. And it had nothing to do with swallowing a pill. It was about listening to my body. Conscious decision making. Facing down my Demons. Learning mind-body-gut connection. And healing from the inside out. Join me in a live radio interview on Monday, April 20th at 10 am Central/ 9 am Mountain Time for a very real conversation with Dan and Nancy Loeffler, author of The Alchemy of Grief: Your Journey to Wholeness, about my journey with Lupus and Celiac, Thriving Beyond the Diagnosis. https://wfnu.org/

How I Reversed Lupus
Intro
Hi everyone! I'm Petra Duran, I'm from Barcelona, Spain but currently live in the bay area. How's everyone doing today? I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2018 bc I ignored symptoms before, and now I'm extremely sensitive. Moving to the US was tough but now in California there's great gluten free safe options. What about you?
Something I had to unlearn
The belief that “pushing through” made me strong and resting made me weak. For years, I treated my exhaustion like a personal failure. I apologized for it. Hid it. Tried to outrun it. My body had to get very, very loud before I finally listened. Rest didn’t fix everything. But fighting my body on top of everything it was already carrying nearly broke me. And I know this weekend is a big one for a lot of people. Holidays, family dynamics, expectations, noise… it’s a lot for a nervous system that’s already stretched thin. So I’m curious. What’s your relationship with rest these days? Do you let yourself slow down when life gets loud, or do you still feel like you have to earn it? No judgment. Just an invitation to notice. And if this is the kind of conversation you want more of — the real stuff, the healing stuff, the “I’m not doing this alone anymore” stuff — I’m opening the doors to my Skool Autoimmune Empowerment community. I’m sharing my full “Connection, Healing, and Earned Security” deck there, and this week I’m dropping the workshop + interview that goes with it. If you’re craving connection, regulation, and a softer way of being in your body… come to the Community. It’s time.
