I spent a month editing a minute long video. It was totally the right call!

I have a boat load of content related to this I will ask for your feedback on, but I wanted to rejoice for a bit cause we published this piece I've been intensely working on since we shot it in July.

I've been building my way into the culture and nightlife scene of Atlanta thru work with other collectives similar to Unfaithfools in values and mission. I've done highlight reels for them before and I've been able to show off my editing skills with them, but this time I wanted to take a chance on something different. My passion is telling stories, and artists tend to have interesting ones to tell.

This isn't a commissioned project, no one asked for this specifically and I did not charge for it, I actually asked the producer to give me the opportunity to crash the green room with some lights for 15 minutes and to let us run with a couple cameras throughout the night. I wasn't fully sure what was gonna come out, and I cannot be prouder of what we were able to accomplish.

As a creative director, this is a capstone project for me. As a professional, it's gonna be an invaluable tool to build bridges with the right people. As an artist, its one of my personal favorite pieces of work I've been able to produce.

Video is doing the rounds on IG, closing in on 10K views less than 24hrs in. Everyone who's seen it has commented on how dope it is, several people have said "lets work" (we'll see lol) and I even got a real lead from a business that wants to work on something similar. This post isn't even really meant to be "algorithm friendly", it's horizontal and too long for socials but to me, I prefer for it to live somewhere a lot of people can check it out and then go watch the full res version on YouTube. I got more content designed to make external rounds so I'm not worried about it ;)
