Well hello sir…
The family received a group text from my son who was headed to the gym. He drives a Tesla (seems everyone in my local area does - that’s when you know you’re back in the DC metro area after traveling! Hahaha)
Anyhoo… we send group texts to each other with sunrises and random funnies. This one though…
Alex dreamt about his best friend from high school who transitioned many moons ago. Gage helped my son out during his middle school years. Best buds. Beautiful heart. The two of them were strong together and it made some difficulties easier during that time. Later on we moved back to DC due to several reasons. Both boys became men. Gage had a son (who looks just like him!!!), but also fell prey to the drugs of that area. After getting clean a few times, he fell back into it one last time and transitioned.
Flash forward to today - maybe 10 years after his passing, my son had dreams about him and gets a little hello from this cardinal on his tinted Tesla window.
Left brain says yes - he sees the reflection and is like “what’s up?!” thinking it’s another cardinal. But right brain may notice the joy in the heart and the connection of this hello. I feel the joy simply by seeing this and remembering Gage.
Have you had any recent animal hellos? How about recent hellos from a loved one that has passed away and comes to you in other ways to say hello? Our loved ones are never far away friends… ❤️
