OpenVids · 15 Oct 2026
okay so most AI video tools make you a brand-new clip. OpenVids is different: the agents edit your own footage on a real timeline, and you can review or undo every change. It's free and open source, runs on Mac (Apple Silicon) and Windows, and you plug in your own AI key. It's very new, so treat it as a rough-cut, narration and titles assistant. The guide: install it (and the two security warnings you'll hit), connect a model, then three paste-ready prompts: a rough cut from a long recording, a narration with the music ducked under it, and a motion title checked by render QA. 20 pages, PDF attached. Tried it? Drop what you made in the comments.

Claude for Google Workspace · 15 Oct 2026
okay so if you live in Google Sheets, this one's worth installing. Claude now sits in a sidebar inside Docs, Sheets and Slides, and it edits your actual file: ask for a report and it writes the formulas, the pivot table and the chart in your sheet. Every paid Claude plan includes it (Pro is $17/mo billed annually, $20 monthly). The guide: the install, the one setting to leave on (Ask before edits), and 3 copy-paste workflows: a report tab you can trace to the raw rows, a long doc cut down, and notes turned into a deck in your own theme. Plus the beta limits. 24 pages, PDF attached. Stuck on a step? Drop your setup in the comments.
