Step 1: Schedule Success.
I'd like to thank Mr. Brown, my High School Business teacher for that little tidbit of advice he gave me after I complained I had a full time job and was struggling with his book report. Now, 22 years later, I still remember walking away from that conversation wondering WTH it was supposed to mean. Fortunately, I've figured it out. I set out to study to become a MLO. Everything in life has fought me in doing it, from fostering 2 kids, working a 12 hour night shift, having courses for work, courses for foster care, taxes, church, and day to day living " Stuff". I had a headlight go out and a tire go flat in less than 6 hours. But I'd like to say I set out to do 12 courses on compliance ( really dry material if your wondering) before starting my actual MLO course to see if I could even take on schooling. I'm glad to say I finished those 12 courses today. I am now waiting on the dates to start my MLO courses. Everything in life can give you a reason to not be successful. No time, no energy, no money.. situations seemingly out of your control. Life has a way of doing that. You can always find some reason not to do the things that bring happiness and success into your life. You have to schedule success into your life, and that..is step 1. You can dream, make a plan, do everything but make time and you'll never get what your wanting out of it unless you make the time to actually do it. That's my word of wisdom for the day, thank Mr. Brown, I'll keep you guys posted on my journey.
