step #1

start posting on youtube 3x per week. teach what you're learning about your skill. this forces you to speak your niche’s language and positions you as someone worth paying attention to. stay consistent for 90 days and people will start booking calls.

pro tip: put your calendar link as the first line in your youtube description. when i did this, my booking rate jumped by 40%.

step #2

master your craft. results speak louder than outreach. when you’re good, clients refer you without being asked. but don’t be afraid to ask:

“can you introduce me to 1–2 friends in your industry?”

that single question is how i got my first handful of clients. it still works.

your portfolio isn’t a website it’s every platform you post on. i show up on upwork, linkedin, x, youtube, instagram, and through my newsletter.

content flows daily. i stay top of mind. so when a business owner needs a copywriter, they think of me.

i don’t compete in someone else’s market.

i built my own.

now clients come to me.
