overview
booking calls my outbound + inbound systems are working no question about it. the problem is my sales abilities. concerning it took this long for me to figure it out. ive really never had to go out and find clients most of the time its been inbound and or upwork. these are clients saying heres my problem, heres my money, i want you. now tables are turned im the one chasing a bit. so heres the breakdown
  • Not setting frame well enough. prospects are brain dumping problems and im cleaning the problems up (solving to many problem for them)
  • Skipping diagnostic not understanding their numbers well enough. there no emotional tie in. things like goals in next 12 months, how would life change if you hit that number
  • Diagnosed and prescribed for free. Sales isnt about adding value its. Make them realize Im the expert but dont solve problems for them on the call.
  • Gap not being created. I need to define where they are. define where they want to be. and position myself as the bridge.
  • being too picky although ive had some rough experiences with clients just simply not paying me enough. im turning down gigs because i know im worth more $$$ still feel this is a good decision just need to do the above better
  • never pitched this last prospect specifically. no price stated. no offer stated. im avoiding selling...
  • overexplaining + not asking permission to explain
the above is sadly the reality. painful to write but it is what is and needs to be fixed. i mean 0/11 calls i believe at this point. thats not too pretty (some we're just poor leads and i knew going in) but regardless I need minimum 20% close rate. funny we know the answers yet we don't take action lol brutal. honestly not enough sales calls imo 30 - 40 is where im thinkn close hits. this is a welcome to sales
