Something I’ve noticed with newer VAs: a lot of you are underselling “thinking work.”
If you’re just executing tasks, you stay replaceable.If you start suggesting improvements, you become harder to replace.
Example:Don’t just schedule posts → suggest better posting times based on engagementDon’t just reply to emails → identify repetitive queries and propose templates
Clients don’t always ask for this. You have to step into it.
That shift is what took me from task-based work to retainer clients.
