Hey AIMM Community! I'm John, the CEO of AIMM, and I want to tell you how I got here. About 4½ months ago I got a call from my good friend, Terry Morrill the founder of Pacific Outdoor Living and AIMM System. He told me about what he had built, a methodology, a platform, and a proof of concept in Pacific Outdoor Living that stopped me in my tracks. Terry scaled POL from $1M to $35M using systems he developed over decades in the trades. Real systems. Built by a contractor, for contractors. I knew immediately I wanted to be part of taking this to the industry. So here we are. Day 1 of the AIMM community. Terry, myself, and a team fully committed to helping specialty contractors build more profitable businesses. Meet the Man Behind the Method
If you want to know why AIMM works, you need to know Terry Morrill. Terry didn't build this platform in a classroom. He built it in the field, running Pacific Outdoor Living from a $1M startup to a $35M design/build company. He wrote the book on construction estimating, literally. "A Revolution in Construction Estimating" is required reading around here. Along the way Terry developed the Three Laws of Separation framework, separating your Customer, your Money, and your Personnel. In our experience, when a contracting business is struggling, the breakdown almost always traces to one of those three areas. AIMM is his life's work brought to the industry.
