I'm doing a personal project to collect hundred of newsletters about fundraising and to analyze and summarize with AI to find tips and best-pratices over time. I created a deep research prompt to find them and put them in a table format so I can choose which ones to include. I'm including the generic version of the Deep Research prompt as a PDF in case it is helpful for anyone else. Just put it into AI and ask it to modify for your specific topic you are wanting to research. Once it is modified, use your favorite deep research tool like Perplexity or OpenAI Deep Research. Researching funders and donors just got a lot easier with Claude + Candid connection. You can now connect Claude directly to Candid's donor database which brings nonprofit and funder data directly into Claude so you can search organizations, discover funding opportunities, and tap into expert knowledge directly inside an LLM. It helps you move from hunting for information to actually using it. Here are some example of what you can now ask directly inside Claude when you connect them together. “Help me find nonprofits working on food access in Seattle that are highly transparent” and get a focused list with links to Candid profiles. “Show me the EINs for homeless shelters in Brooklyn, NYC” and jump from there into full Candid profiles for programs, financials, and transparency information. “Who is most likely to fund my nonprofit’s educational support programs” help you spot potential funders and related organizations grounded in Candid’s datas. To get started, create a free Candid account at candid.org (no affiliate) if you do not already have one. Hey everyone, I apologize for not being as active and sharing more useful things with you all. I've been taking some time to focus on building some AI automations and agents. I'm working on creating an AI Agent that will help nonprofits (or anyone) take the next step in their AI journey. Also working on a Blog Content Marketing Engine to start produce more valuable content at scale with automations. I had to update my own internal AI Assistant Builder and wanted to share in case it is helpful for you. This one is a little concise and designed more for automations but still works great for any AI Assistant you need to build. I've been using this one a lot.
