Hey Team! I had 9 presentations this week! I'm exhausted. It was a good though. I'm so grateful that I get to do what I love and meet so many interesting people. Pipeline & Funnel- How are you getting people in?
AI has brought so many new ways to bring people into our funnel, but I'm curious what you are all doing here and what you're seeing success with. Are you running ads? Are you doing webinars? Do you have a lead magnet? If so, what do those look like? I'm trying something new where I'm creating webinars and lead magnets, but they're only available inside Club Jam. So instead of saying "register for this webinar", the call to action is "join us in Club Jam". Also, how many of you have communities? Remember, this is the place where we're peer-to-peer and we're helping each other grow. There's more than enough business in the AI space. No need to gatekeep the things that are working. Your landing page and offer isn't cutting it.
I've been asking for pitches from other consultants as I'm trying to bring people in for projects. I haven't seen one good offer or pitch. If you can't talk about what you do and what you offer, how do you expect people to pay you for it? If you haven't already listen to 100M offers by Alex Hormozi.(look for the audio book) It will change how you think about positioning your offer and your business. I asked my advisory board what makes a great landing page and offer and here is what they said: Your page elements checklist, straight from the board: 1. Face-to-camera video (GaryVee) above the fold 2. Hook headline + "almost nobody's using it properly" subhead (you already have this) 3. 2-sentence transformation statement (Amy) — what they walk away ABLE to do 4. "This is for you if..." section with 3-5 identity callouts (Brené) 5. Value stack with assigned dollar amounts (Hormozi) 6. Price + clear CTA button 7. 2-3 social proof testimonials 8. opt-in form as the registration mechanism (Amy) 9. Date/time/format clearly stated 10. FAQ: Is there a replay? Do I need to know anything about AI first? Is this free? Whats your offer? Share below!
Monday Virtual Sales Meeting
Hey Team! What are you selling this week and who are you selling it to? Most importantly, how are you going to close your deals? I'll go first. I'm following up on my consulting offer to the finance people. I sold 3 of the 5 spots I have available. I also need to create a new landing page to sell June and August sessions. (I take July off... This is one of the many reasons I'm unemployable). I'm going to close my deals by having Claude analyze my email marketing data. Who clicked and looked at my landing page the most but didn't buy. I'll then have Manus do a deep dive on who they are and what they do. Then, I'll run my Manus Skill that will apply my consulting framework to their company so I can show them exactly how I will help them if they engage with me. Other news... I launched some Meta ads last week. I'm nervous. The last few times I did Meta ads they tanked. However, I've never been able to create ads with this much research about my ICP, competitor landscape and a proven product. I'll keep you all up to date! Go crush it this week!
